The Thirst for Design CompetitionOn July 12, 2010, Vapur, Dwell Magazine and Opportunity Green teamed up to launch the Vapur Thirst for Design Competition. This competition was hosted on the international competitive design site, jovoto, inviting emerging artists around the world to design on our unique canvas; the Vapur Anti-Bottle®. Submissions were reviewed by an online creative community and three winning designs were curated by an esteemed panel of judges.

The WinnersThe Thirst for Design competition took place over a six-week period, during which almost 300 submissions and over 1,000 individual designs were entered. Selecting the winners was the most difficult part. Lucky for us, our esteemed panel of judges made the process of narrowing down the finalist much easier! The three winning designs, Bottle Dweller, Aqua Libre and Shark Bait, selected by these judges became the first edition of the Vapur Artist Series.In addition to the Artist Series winners, the jovoto designers also chose six “Community Winners,” who won cash prizes based on votes cast by jovoto community. MerchandisingThe Artist Series arrive in stores August, 2011. These limited edition bottles ship in a special Artist Series display and include a series of Collectors Cards, an Artist Series Poster and, of course, the bottles themselves. The Collectors Box 
Only 250 Vapur Artist Series Collector’s Boxes were created and distributed to the media and Vapur’s key partners. Theses boxes contained the three winning Artist Series Anti-Bottles, one set of Collectors Cards and a press release on the Vapur Artist Series.We will be holding a contest in July, 2011, where Vapur fans can enter to win an Artist Series Collectors Box.
